1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verbixo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Verbixo provides AI-powered text transformation tools including AI text humanization, rewriting, pattern removal, paragraph formatting, and script conversion. All processing occurs client-side in your browser.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not use the Service to create harmful, deceptive, or illegal content
• Not attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the Service
• Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Not use automated systems or bots to access the Service excessively
• Respect intellectual property rights

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you input into our tools and the output generated. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

4.2 Our Service

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by Verbixo and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of transformed text
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Results that meet your specific requirements

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL VERBIXO BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

8. Paid Subscriptions & Payments

8.1 Subscription Plans

Verbixo offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans (Student and Pro) provide increased word limits and access to additional features. Prices are shown in INR for Indian users and USD for international users, and include applicable taxes as required by Indian law.

8.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited ("Razorpay"), a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit/debit card details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on your plan). Your relationship for the transaction is with Razorpay, and their terms and privacy policy apply.

8.3 Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will receive a reminder email before each renewal.

9. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase, Razorpay, OpenRouter). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third parties.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.

13. Cancellation & Refund Policy

13.1 Cancellation Policy

• You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your Dashboard without providing any reason.
• Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
• After the billing period ends, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan.
• You can re-subscribe at any time after cancellation.
• No cancellation fees or penalties apply.

13.2 Refund Policy

• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans from the date of purchase — no questions asked.
• Refund requests after 7 days but within 30 days will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, considering the extent of service used.
• Refund requests after 30 days from the date of purchase will not be entertained, except where mandated by Indian consumer protection laws.
• Refunds are processed back to the original payment method (credit/debit card) within 5–10 business days of approval.
• After a refund is processed, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan immediately.

13.3 How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

• Self-service: Cancel your subscription directly from your Dashboard.
• Contact us: For refund requests, email us at support@verbixo.com or use our Contact Page with your registered email and reason for the request.

13.4 Non-Refundable Scenarios

• Accounts terminated for violation of these Terms of Service.
• Requests made after 30 days from the date of purchase (unless mandated by law).
• Partial months or unused portions of a billing cycle (subscription remains active until end of cycle).
